Hallottam egy történetet. Tetszik, ezért leírom, ahogy emlékszem…
Mózes kérte Istent, hogy láthassa Őt szemtől szemben. (Nahát! Tetszik az ötlet! Vajon én mertem volna ezt kérni?)
Ha látnál engem, azonnal meghalnál – válaszolta, de megengedte, hogy Mózes lássa Őt hátulról.
Isten fején Tfilin volt. (Hiszen, elvégre, Isten is tartja a micvákat.)
Mózes azt látta, hogy a tarkóján van egy csomó, amiből két oldalon, két irányban lóg le a bőrszíj. (Az enyém is -természetesen- ilyen.)
Ebből Mózes megértette, hogy a jó és a rossz, az öröm és a fájdalom ugyanabból az EGY pontból ered, ugyanonnan indul. (Hát, ezért kellett nekünk Mózes! Én magamtól erre nem jöttem volna rá…)
Úgy gondolom, ez az EGY pont a SZERETET. Te mit gondolsz?
I heard a story from my chevruta (learning partner). I found it rather interesting, so I post it here the way I remember it…
Moses asked God to see Him face to face. (I would have asked the same, for sure.)
“If you were to see me, you would die immediately,” He replied, but allowed Moses to see Him from behind.
God had Tefillin on His head. (After all, God also observes the commandments.)
Moses saw the knot on the back of His head. Two leather straps hung down in two directions coming from the same point. (Rather normal for a Tefillin.) From this, Moses understood that good and evil, joy and pain, all originate from the same ONE point, starting from the very same source. (That’s why we needed Moses! I would have never come to this conclusion!)
My guess is that this ONE point could be called LOVE.
